Angelia’s Mermaid Adventures February 2023

I have been busy upgrading my selection of tails for my students to use for their PADI Mermaid courses and for their photoshoots. I was sitting there one day staring out the window dreaming of my childhood of fantasying about being Ariel the little mermaid and how beautiful she looked in her amazing mermaid tail. I was so enchanted by the mystical feeling of the magical world, I set myself a goal of ensuring that my students had their fantasy come true and are able to choose their own mermaid tail to become a beautiful mermaid. Keep reading to see the first students that were able to fulfil their fantasy who wore the new mermaid tails in a family mermaid photoshoot with me.

I had the pleasure to teach three new mermaids and provide them their first PADI Mermaid license. It was a fun filled two full days learning all about becoming mermaids. Learning to become a mermaid is not just about putting on a mermaid tail and swimming underwater, the instructor ensures, encourages, and sets a positive environment for students to become comfortable in the water so they can be prepared for any mermaid emergency. One of my other passions is photography if you didn’t know me by now. I have been taking pictures all around the world, so I decided to put two of my passions together and be known as the photographer who arranges professional Mermaid Photoshoots. This time I had the pleasure to welcome this wonderful and inspiring family who went full swing and even had the coloured hair wigs to match the beautiful mermaid tails that I recently added to my tail selection. I am so humbled to be recognised for my photography skills. Although I don’t want to write about my latest achievement, I thought you should know a little more about one of my many talents. I have been taking photos for many years around the world and joined many online competitions, but this time I stepped up and joined a competition right here in my hometown of Kota Kinabalu.
