PADI Mermaid
The PADI Mermaid course is conducted over two days which consists of knowledge development and at least two confined water sessions in a swimming pool. The training in the PADI Mermaid program develops the skills and training learnt in the PADI Basic Mermaid course, however the PADI Mermaid Course includes the PADI Basic Mermaid program so you can start right away with the PADI Mermaid program. During the PADI Mermaid course in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia you will learn many mermaid skills that make mermaiding an underwater self-expressive art by our team of experienced mermaid instructors.
What To Expect
The PADI Mermaid course has two parts:
- Through PADI Mermaid eLearning you will study independently using the PADI online system to study the PADI Mermaid eLearning which covers both PADI Basic Mermaid and PADI Mermaid theory. This will take approximately 3-4 hours.
- In a swimming pool over two days, you will take part in two confined water sessions learning and prepare for mermaiding, rescue/problem management skills and how to safely conduct mermaid dives. You will also learn mermaid skills, such as dolphin kicks, mermaid turns, special mermaid skills like backward somersault turns, underwater handshaking mermaid bubbles, and back glides.
